On behalf of our client, we have been retained on an Accountant search for their organization. Our client is a leader in the investment management space. Our client offers up a tremendous work/life balance, the opportunity to work with a truly outstanding team, very interesting work and a strong overall compensation package. This role will be based out of their Downtown Toronto office 3 days a week, and the remaining 2 days a week work from home.
The ideal candidate for this role would have much of the following :
- 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience – ideally within the investment management / professional services world
- Strong ASPE experience
- Strong Excel experience and experience with Sage would be a bonus
- Experience with investment accounting and the various transactions, bank account management, wire management, and draft management that come along with it
- Experience with expense reporting
- Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Experience preparing files for external auditors
- Experience preparing year-end adjusting entries
- Experience in a multi-currency environment would be beneficial
