Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be considered for the Edith Cowan University Scholarship 2026 in Australia, applicants must:
- Applicants must have received an offer of admission to an ECU Master by Research, Integrated PhD research course, or Higher Degree by PhD in order to be eligible.
- Applications for course admission that are submitted before the scholarship closing date but are not evaluated or authorized before the scholarship ranking will be taken into consideration; if they are accepted, applicants will only receive a conditional scholarship offer.
You cannot apply for these scholarships if you:
- Within the last two years, you have received a scholarship from the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) or an Australia Award.
- If the planned research study is not approved by your senior supervisor.
- According to the ECU RTP Conditions of Award, you cannot be considered for the RTP Stipend scholarship if your salary exceeds 75% of the 2025 ECU RTP basic stipend rate ($35,000).
- This amount excludes cash obtained for the candidate’s HDR course that isn’t used to cover living expenses or income unrelated to the candidate’s research project.

- The application process is simple; applicants must first obtain supervisor support and then apply for admission to an ECU research degree program.
- After this is set up, candidates can apply for the scholarship before the deadline by using ECU’s official web portal.
- Edith Cowan University will accept applications for research scholarships from September 3, 2025, until October 16, 2025.
- Only those who have applied for or been accepted into ECU will be taken into consideration, and all submissions must be done during this time frame.
