Packaging supervisor – food and beverage processing job available in Canada with visa sponsorship

Payment: $28 an hour

Full job description
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate from any country
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Environment
- Dairy: A place where milk is processed and turned into products like cheese and yogurt.
- Flour Mill: A facility where grains are ground into flour.
- Bakery: A shop or area where bread, cakes, and pastries are baked.
- Meat Processing and Packing: A place where meat is cut, prepared, and packaged.
Tasks
- Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
- Identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
