Summary Of Functions

Greet and welcome all visitors on site while supporting all departments, clerically for the Tillsonburg location.

Tasks

• Be the first point-of-contact for Inovata Foods Inc.
• Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the office.
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
• Ensure reception area is always tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials available.
• Provide basic and accurate information to employees and visitors both in-person and via phone/email.
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
• Order office supplies, support departmental purchasing and keep inventory of stock.
• Keep updated records of office expenses and costs.
• Coordinate company driver activities as required.
• Facilitate FedEx shipments as required.
• Support new employee orientation by managing the Locker Program, issuing lockers to new hires and decommissioning lockers of terminated employees.
• Create and issue ID Badges and Door Access Cards to new and existing employees as needed.
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
• Other duties as assigned/required.

Knowledge

Must possess good knowledge of purchasing basics. Must possess good computer skills (in particular Microsoft Excel). Must possess demonstrated problem-solving as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. High level of attention to detail.

Manual Dexterity

General use of computer, calculator, photocopier, and telephone.
