As a Sales and Production Planner, you will be responsible for all day-to-day activities supporting your dedicated product category. These responsibilities include but are not limited to, opening inventory review, preparation of sales and production plans, fulfilling QA hold requests, monitoring frozen inventory levels, supporting the daily hand off meeting between shifts, conducting analysis of category items, maintaining accuracy of disposition sheets, and providing administrative support to the Product Management team. The Sales and Production Planner is responsible for adhering to Conestoga Meats’ core values through the day-to-day interactions.

Duties and Responsibilities
Complete opening inventory on category items to ensure operations has reached capacity requirements
Develop and publish the daily push list, rotation, and unsold inventory
Investigate root cause of short shipments or overproductions
Monitor the QA hold tool to prepare product disposition and create returns
Prepare and publish the daily cut sheets (PDF and Real Time)
Provide direction on daily priority planning and scheduling requirements
Allocate fresh and frozen sales into the production plan accurately and timely
Support the daily hand off meeting to provide operations guidance
Act as a primary contact for day-to-day cross functional concerns as they arise
Prepare the fresh offer sheet
Provide administrative support (i.e., maintaining price lists, additional scheduling, etc.)
Actively participate in category team to contribute to KPI’s and required category graphical analysis
Collaborate with product managers on product strategy and direction
Contribute to sales team huddles with any important updates
Adhere to all company policies and business code of ethics
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Team player
Minimum 2 years customer service
College diploma or greater
Experience in the meat industry is an asset
Strong data entry/management skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Independent worker with the ability to learn quickly
