Contract & hours: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
As a Site Manager, you'll be assisting on FRA & Refurbishment works to residential properties & blocks across the East London and Kent area, as part of our contract with Hammersmith and Fulham housing. The nature of works in this project are primarily mechanical & electrical and fire safety / fire risk refurbishment of accommodation, including works relating to fire rated boards, fire doors, fire escape plans, gas, electricity, water & CCTV systems.
Your day to day will include:
- Reporting to the Contracts Manager and linking in with the wider team of Design Managers and Quantity Surveyors
- Using your operational expertise to ensure risks are identified and mitigated
- Co-ordinating subcontractors and suppliers in a planned and controlled manner
Who are we looking for?
This role of Site Manager is great for you if:
- You have experience in a site management role within the housing maintenance sector, residential mechanical & electrical refurbishment works
- You are qualified / certified in SMSTS, CSCS Black card, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness
- You have experience in software such as Fieldview, Snagmaster and Microsoft Project, although training will be provided
As a bonus, you may have Temporary Works Co-ordinator training, Basic Scaffold Awareness, and Fire Manager training. Kier have a robust training plan in place for staff and support will be provided where necessary.
