We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our growing team in our Distribution Centre located in Edmonton, AB! Your responsibility will be to accurately and quickly service a very fast paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry. Warehouse employees are required to lift 30+ pounds repeatedly.

We are willing to train successful candidate.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, wrap and stage outbound freight
  • Complete daily pre-inspections of warehousing equipment (i.e. Order Pickers and Reach Trucks) when operating
  • Receive and locate product using RF technology in alignment with company processes
  • Once properly trained, operate all warehouse equipment effectively and safely
  • Complete work in the prescribed sequence to ensure deliver-by-date is met, as well as all quality, efficiency, and safety targets
  • Load/unload trucks and replenish stock when required
  • Complete cycle counts and participate in the annual inventory count process
  • Maintain a strict housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols
  • Report any unsafe work conditions, accidents/injuries and/or near-misses in a timely basis

Requirements

  • Completion of high-school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in working in a distribution and/or logistics environment and use of RF/barcode scanners is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • The successful candidate will be required to successfully complete a security background check
  • Experience/certification in forklift operation is considered an asset
  • Must have a positive disposition and work well with others.
