Highlights of the Order Selector Position:

• Starting wage of $21.21 per hour + $1.25 per hour freezer differential
  Retention BONUS! After 4 months, you’ll get $1000, and after 8 months, you’ll get $1000 ($2000 total!)
• Shift: Sunday through Friday, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. or 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., 5 days a week, with the option to transition to a 4x 10 hour schedule after 90 days.
• Earn a potential +$3-$7/hr in performance bonuses after completing training.
• After 30 days of employment, you will be eligible for medical, dental, and prescription drug benefits.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Must be physically healthy and capable of lifting, stacking, pulling, and carrying big goods safely and repeatedly (from 10 to 80 lbs)
• A strong emphasis on health and safety
• Must have a track record of consistently arriving on schedule.
• It’s preferable if you’ve worked at a warehouse before.

 

Among the responsibilities are:

• Lift and load food service products (weighing between 10 and 80 pounds) onto pallets, as well as prepare pallets for transportation to a customer.
• Using a computerised inventory system, accurately scanning and choosing products.
• Power equipment, such as electric pallet jacks, must be operated safely.
• Working in a variety of temperature zones, including a freezer (-20°C), a cooler, and a dry goods section.
• Employees at the warehouse must be prepared to work in all temperature zones.
• All types of food goods, including fish, meats, dairy, produce, spices, beverages, and equipment, are exposed to and handled.
• Ensure that all Health and Safety rules and regulations, as well as Food Safety programs, are followed.
