Inovata Foods Corp.is currently looking for a receptionist to work at our Tillsonburg, Ontario location. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of high-quality frozen meals for prominent clients throughout North America.
Summary Of Functions
Greet and welcome all visitors on site while supporting all departments, clerically for the Tillsonburg location.
Tasks
- Be the first point-of-contact for Inovata Foods Inc.
- Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure reception area is always tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials available.
- Provide basic and accurate information to employees and visitors both in-person and via phone/email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Order office supplies, support departmental purchasing and keep inventory of stock.
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs.
- Coordinate company driver activities as required.
- Facilitate FedEx shipments as required.
- Support new employee orientation by managing the Locker Program, issuing lockers to new hires and decommissioning lockers of terminated employees.
- Create and issue ID Badges and Door Access Cards to new and existing employees as needed.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
- Other duties as assigned/required.
Knowledge
Must possess good knowledge of purchasing basics. Must possess good computer skills (in particular Microsoft Excel). Must possess demonstrated problem-solving as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. High level of attention to detail.
Manual Dexterity
General use of computer, calculator, photocopier, and telephone.
