We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team, working out of our Distribution Centre located in Winnipeg that will have a mixture of duties in both warehouse and outside yard work. We are seeking an energetic individual with a keen eye to detail and a positive demeanour! You will work alongside the DC team with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer happiness.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Complete diary logs into inventory
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow the company quality service standards and align with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Able to lift and carry heavy objects
  • Attention to detail, quality and organizational processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact well with co-workers
  • Successful candidate will be required to complete a background check
