We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team, working out of our Distribution Centre located in Winnipeg that will have a mixture of duties in both warehouse and outside yard work. We are seeking an energetic individual with a keen eye to detail and a positive demeanour! You will work alongside the DC team with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer happiness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow the company quality service standards and align with procedures, rules and regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Able to lift and carry heavy objects
- Attention to detail, quality and organizational processes in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact well with co-workers
- Successful candidate will be required to complete a background check
